I originally received this engine on trade for some racing parts I had. The motor has been out of the car in heated storage for 2 years. I was told the engine should be fine with the carbs rebuilt and distributor adjusted. The car it came out of was a high dollar 1964 lightweight car and the owner reunited the car with it's original motor, so this one came out. I have had the valve covers off only and everything looks really clean, also confirmed cylinder head numbers and factory adjustable rocker arms. When I took the motor out of the crate I noticed the corner on the drivers side exhaust manifold flange is broken off and had been used with a bolt and a couple of washers with no issue. Also, the bolt hole boss under where the starter would mount is broken, again used with no issue. I am discounting the motor to $8500 obo from $10K because of the 2 issues. Thanks!
