Cleaning out the shop. I have a 440 block with a .030 bore. This block have less than 500 miles on it. The deck height is approx. 10.658. There or a few scratches in some of the cylinders. The deepest is in #3 (see pic). That is the cylinder that dropped the valve. everything has been cleans and checked out by my machinist. This is a front plate mount motor (one of the ears for the motor mount is missing on driver side of block).
