440 broken exhaust stud problem

Left rear pass side.I was drilling it out and I went thru the bolt.Now my drill bit goes in farther than the other holes.Did I drill into the water jacket or could I have wnt thru it and will this cause problems?

Yes, you drilled into the water jacket. That's what the stud goes into........You didn't hurt anything.

No just extract it. Make sure you use sealer on the threads of the new stud/bolt.

Use the biggest extractor you can....drilling out a broken one is no fun. A smaller one breaks easier than a big one.
