Has anyone run a 440 with a Mancini cross ram intake. I am building a '67 dart drag car and trying to keep a small old school look. A 413 or 416 max wedge is impossible to find in bare bones. I saw an intake for the 440 that would keep the old school look. Would it be good for racing? Thoughts?

So,what did you find? The A&A manifold is neat.... but very expensive, and no faster than a good single four bbl manifold. A LOT of money for eyewash (kinda like the sixpack stuff).
I have a max that I raced. Replaced a modified Tarantula and 850 combo (also quite vintage, early seventies manifold) with the factory max port crossram with two 750 competition carter's, and picked up.......

Nothing.

The Production Max Wedge Manifold falls off much over 6500 and no
sense to shift over 660 to 6800.
A lot of the Stock and Superstock engines would like to
run 7500+ if the induction supported it.
The issue is the interconnection area between the two
banks is way too small.
You can cheat and open it up quite a bit but you better be
one of the best Aluminum Welders in your state to hide it
in stock.
