I went to MyMopar to look up my 440. Here is what I found and could use a link to find the other numbers I have.

4006630-440-1 = Industrial RB Engine

I wasn't able to find these numbers so if some one has a link I can use it would be helpful.

R7

7 T 440 E

4 22

The heads I have are 4006452 and found the specs on it.

76-78 400- 440

81.5 CC

Intake valves 2.08

Exhaust 1.74

The heads I have are, I am not sure of how good they are.

4006452 31 0404

4006452 30 0057

Can any one help with these numbers?

Yeah I was writing before you responded. if the block was cast in 78 then what I said is partially or all incorrect. They obviously cast before assembly.

It very well could be a 77 block. I took these numbers directly from the side and a pad on top of the engine.

Looks I have a excellent block to build on at a later date.

ok here is the answer, Still not sure about the R7 though.

7 = 1977, T= Trenton Mich assy plant, 440, E = cast crankshaft
4 22 = 4/22/77 engine assembly date

I was close. this will explain the R7.

I know this post is old but the R7 stands for standard fuel. Just in case someone wanted to know for future reference.
