I recently bought a 77 440 that came out of police car. I got it back from the machine shop and I have some questions. It is bored 30 over and the cast crank is ground 10/10. I have the balancer and the converter that came off of it so is it still balanced? If so, do I just have to match the weight of the new pistons with the old? I would like to bring this 190 hp 1977 440 up to 350/375 hp like the earlier 440's. Will taller pistons and a different cam get me there using the original heads? The original pistons were .150 down in the bore. As always, thanks FABO.
