440 Lower Radiator Hose

Good evening all! Looking for a little assistance. I am putting the finishing touches on my 440 Dart (was a 273). I am looking for a lower radiator hose. Drivers side outlet on the water pump drivers side hook up on the radiator. Any suggestions or part numbers would be great! Thanks!!

Nobody makes the correct factory hose yet, Bill Rolik is working on it, but for now you have to use a corregated hose and cut to fit...

The original hose was a 60662 Goodyear. You should be able to google it.

I just looked up radiator hoses for a 71 big block Cuda and both the upper and lower hoses fit pretty good with minimal trimming

It really depends on where the outlet is on the bottom of the radiator. The factory big block A-Bodies have it all the way to the drivers side as it will go, the 340 radiators are a couple inches from the end, but the oil filter makes it tough to get the big block hose to fit...

My lower radiator outlet is all the way to the drivers side.

I am using a aftermarket radiator made to fit a 71 Cuda with stock hose locations on the radiator ( lower outlet is about 1 inch inboard from the lower drivers side corner) and you are right the lower hose is a tight fit but it does fit

Has your radiator lower outlet been converted to the BB size? 1.75 (IIRC) vs 1.5 for SB.

Rock Auto has the Continental 60659, 17.00. It is the bottom hose for all big blocks from like 1966 to 1972. A, B, and C body.

Yes I have an aftermarket aluminum radiator with the 1 3/4 inch lower outlet.

i went to napa and told them that i waned a lower hose for 69 roadrunner had to trim just a little and affordable to.

If you can't find a hose that fits then make the radiator fit the hose. That is what I did. I used a C body radiator and had a shop move the lower outlet over a few inches so a standard hose would fit perfectly.
