So im figuring out for what i want to do with my car i better buy a rotating assembly because the stock rods and pistons wont cut it for what i want out of this engine. So i am finding stock stroke summit rotataing assemblies for about $1800 which is a lot more than i want to spend and then i see this stroker set up. has anyone used stroker's from these guys? or can comment on the quality of there stuff?

What cylinder heads up plan on running? Race or pump gas? They don't list any piston choices for different heads or compression ratios. And at that pirce you could also get kits from Muscle Motors, 440 Source etc. and have your choice of pistons.
Here's an example

well i am debating between the 906's i have on the bench that will need new valves, springs, locks, retainers etc and the stealth heads from 440 source (either way i am on a budget). Compression has to be below 11:1 because this thing HAS to run on pump gas. I am only leaning to the stroker because i initially had plans to make this a low 11 second car but i mean everyone with a stroked small block seems to be making that with ease so im shooting for high 10's and figured maybe a stroker would be best. I saw in an old issue of MoparMuscle a stroked 440 in a Coronet made a 10.95 and am trying to build something comparable. the hardest part of this build is that i want to do this with 4.10's for the street, a convertor that stalls under 4000 and the cam, i want to keep it a hydraulic flat tappet not a solid or roller. I just think if i have to buy new rods and pistons i might as well just buy a stroker from 440 source or Hughes and get all that plus a crank because a stock stroke rotating assembly is damn near same price if not more expensive.

I dont think you'll get a 440 with any hydraulic cam to go that fast. Unless the car weighs nothing. The stroker kit would be the way out, but it will be more money, and you will need better heads. Stealths would be the low end of the spectrum for that build.

Hughes Engines is high quality stuff. I bought a small block rotating assembly from them...etc, etc. They've been around a long time and only deal in MOPAR. Give them a call and tell them what your plans are. In my opinion... they are the experts. Easy to deal with and a great bunch of guys.
