I picked up a non-lockup 46RH a couple weeks ago and it came with the torque converter that was with it (originally from a '92 Ram w/ 5.9).

Can I use this converter in a 727?

Kim, how about the flex-plate alignment of that 4th bolt? being a 92 should be a Magnum.

I thought 1993 was the first magnums. But I could be wrong. Should be able to file out the hole in the 727 flex plate to fit the converter. He will have to add weight to the converter or get the B&M flex plate if using with a motor that is externally balanced.

92 was 1st 318 magnum,93 for 360 mag.
The offset lug wasn't dealt with til 96, if using a 96+ flex plate it won't hav any offset, and most converters from that time were marked "90*" to indicate they were all evenly spaced and none were offset.
