This 48 Dodge has had the engine, Fluid Drive transmission, brakes and the stock front suspension rebuilt a few years ago and has not been driven but a few miles since. It has been redone with stock parts and no modifications or 'new world' upgrades (other than wheels and air cleaner) have been done to the car. Anything, as far as trim and small pieces that appear to be missing, are in the trunk. Car comes with an original radio and a trunk full of goodies. There are extra wing windows, original mirrors, new replacement brake hoses, extra carb, a starter and a generator, just to mention a little bit of whats there.

This is a running driving car that has been rebuilt mechanically to make it something you can hop in and go. It comes with extra pieces, and includes some very hard to find stuff. Doesnt smoke or use oil, the fluid drive trans has been rebuilt and works perfect. Carries 60 pounds of oil pressure and does not overheat. Head lights and tail lights work. We recently installed a set of Goodyear 245/70-15's to give it a better ride and road feel while driving.

A cool old car that can be a daily driver or weekend hauler--just depends on what you want, it will do it. Paint and interior would make this an outstanding example of a mid 40's coupe. Would not need tons of rust repair before paint--this car is solid. Comes with another trunk lid and passendgers door. Previous owner decided that it would be easier to have the better pieces, rather than trying to fix the dings that are in the the car. Chrome is in very good condition, glass is all there and only a couple pieces need replaced. Has the dealer add-on aluminum front sun visor that is in high demand, as well as dual deluxe heaters. If you have been looking for a car in this era, you owe it to yourself to look at this one. It will surprise you how complete and clean this car is. Its just a blast to drive, if nothing else. We have been driving it around here locally to run errands, and it seems to be dependable. Its not the fastest thing on the highway, but you will sure get there with more style than the next guy.
Car is located in Burlington, Kansas 66839, about 100 miles south of Kansas City on I35. More pics at www.themopardude.com or call 620-364-8200.
Your wife just called and said it was OK for you to buy it.

$5500 and you can drive it home. Slowly.
