I have a 1970 Doge Dart 340, 4Barrel. When we took the carb off to put a kit in, there was no gasket between carb. and non-metallic spacer. Do not know if there is a gasket under spacer, did not take that off. So, when using a spacer, should there be 2 gaskets, 1 above spaer, and 1 below ?

Yup. A spacer sammich.
Just use this 5/16" thick gasket that comes with the studs and be done with it...
Edelbrock Heat Insulator Gasket
I use one of these. It cured a problem of fuel boiling in the float bowl.
Thanks guys,, that may be what is on the car now,,,,,er-go no gaskets now,,,,,trying to nail down a hesitation,,, new carb kit, new accel. pump. Timing is correct,,,,wondering if I should replace the 750cfm E-brock with a Holley,,,,
