5.7 hemi 4 speed?

im sure this question has been asked but has anyone used a 5.7 hemi in an a-body with the factory 4 speed? what is all needed for this to work i have a lead on a motor and kinda thinking about this any input would be great

Short answer, yes several have done it (myself included). You mainly just need a conversion flywheel that bolts to the 8 bolt Hemi pattern and accepts a 10.5" clutch. Factory small block bellhousing bolts right up.
