1953 Dodge on a 1992 Dakota chassis. This was a fun build ! I kept the Dakota firewall and floor. There's something about not caring about scratches or dents LOL

I agree. My last build was a "No it won't be painted." Built with many "Left Overs".
Fun car, drive anywhere park anywhere !

How close was the wheelbase?
Was it a short cab, short bed Dakota?

Interesting hood treatment.

I'd love to see the "dirty" areas where stuff had to be mated together.

Looks good!!
I just finished mating a 59 d100 to a 2000 dakota R/T chassis!
Fairly easy way to modernize these old trucks to make them driveable down the highway.
What drivetrain are you going with?

Playing with my 47 its on a Ramcharger chassis, 360, 727, NP203, currently putting 3/4 ton axles under it.
It has the full wiring harness, gauges, steering column, PS, PB out of the Ramcharger.

I extended the bed about 4", 92' reg. cab short bed 3.9 auto. the OD ( 46rh, toggle switch activated ) trans bolted right up to the mild LA318. i cut the hood to let heat out. Come see it at the New Orleans Mopar show in New Orleans next March ( ...shamless plug LOL )

Love your look and technology. I saw this one a couple weeks ago. No idea what drive train but the more I look, the more I like.
