Anyone look into aftermarket shifters or dipsticks for the 545 trans? Lokar has them for the 45RFE, not 545. Stock stick will work, but I'll need to cut more of the tunnel than I'd like.

Thanks

I used the Lokar for the 45rfe ( same case ), any 3 speed shifter will work ( B & M, Hurst, etc.)

Cool - thanks! Lokar said they didn't have anything for the 545.... American Shifter makes one, but has sketchy reviews (china made)

I plan to use a Lokar dipstick tube, and use the factory column shift linkage with the 545 I'm putting in my Duster. Look back thru the threads here in the New Hemi Swap forum....and look for Bodens thread about how he did it. Stock column shift linkage from a 904/727 will bolt right up. You have to fab the end at the transmission is all.
