So...I apparently have a 1966 4 speed (A body) transmission......but the 66 transmission doesnt have the identification pad......it does have an aluminum tag on the cover plate...thats say 5-66...Is that about the extent of the information I'm going to get out of it? Thanks.......Patch

There should be a part number either stamped or cast on the case somewhere. 2538384 is the part number for a 66 4-speed. Mike

More questions....My car was originally a three speed on the column....is my factory z bar loctaion going to work on a 10.5 bellhousing.......and is there any issues with the spitfire headers on a manual steering 4 speed 65 dart? Also.....being that my 4 speed is a 1966 A833.....is the register hole more than likely the 4.30 size? 23 spline of course......
