I found a pair of brand new Hooker headers (5901 hkr) on craigslist that im considering picking up but have heard some bad reviews on them. Has anyone used these on any a bodies, if so did you have difficulty installing?

No worse than any other a body header.They are easier to install than flowtechs.

the distance of the left side collector to the ground is very short!

Drivers side hangs below the center link as well.

I hate those headers.

My experience as well, one pipe on the drivers side goes under the center link. Very low clearance on the drivers side. You will badly scrape the pipes on a speed bump.

What ,is your chassis height ? How do you drive? A intelligent driver,can make this work.
