6.1 stock exhaust manifold

just a short question. Did nobody ever tried to make them fit with cutting, welding whatever? Is this really impossible? I have them here and it is really very hard to get fitting manifolds. Does the Jeep srt8 manifolds are a simple bolt on? what are the differences compared to the Charger ones? Are they only closer to the engine block?

yes I saw everything what's posted here but I don't see a final solution except TTI headers (or the do it yourself way off course...)...

I used the Jeep SRT8 manifolds on my 5.7, they hug the block and dump down so they clear the firewall. Check my build for pic's.

unfortunately it is nearly impossible to get those here from the bay or from somewhere else... :-(

hmm i get the feeling i could make a small fortune if i came up with an inexpensive set of shorty headers for a hemi a body........
