does anyone seriously think a bigger gas V8 is going to get good mileage. heck, throw the V10s back in them, with MSD.
Comparing to the latest crop of emissions laden diesels, is a hard sell too. Comparing to 07 and earlier is pointless, as your comparing a brand new truck to a 7 yr old design, that had none of the current emissions crap.
Deleting is a risk, some states will check if the emissions devices are in place. Thankfully AZ isn't one of them, as many go the delete route for their late model Cummins. Finding the right tune for mileage is key too even after you delete.
Keep posting on the everyday use of the 6.4, and comparing its power to that of a diesel. Occasional towing, why waste the expense on a diesel. Every day work and tow, I'd still be inclined to use a diesel. Not everywhere is getting the cheaper fuel, but hey, its under $3 now, which is nice compared to where its been.
So many people sold off their diesels when it jumped up a while back. I look at it this way. higher fuel cost or a truck payment. Easy for me to pay higher fuel, and no truck payment.
