6 cyl k frame / need 7 qt oilpan

I currently have a 73 swinger with a 6 cylinder k-frame. Dropping in a 400 going to a stroker 474. I will need to have a deep oilpan (7 QT) and want to know if anyone can help me out on what to order or how to modify the current oil pan that I have. Current oil pan is from a C-body if I remember correctly. It has the concave dip in it for the steering. Thanks....Dartmansam

I'm doing the very same swap in my Demon. I looked at alot of deep pans including the low cost imported ones. I called Mancini's and spoke with someone there on their tech line. Whoever I spoke with was pretty sharp and said that I should lean towards either the Moroso or the Milodon Low-Pro pan.
I went with the Milodon but I have not installed anything in the car as of yet to see if it all clears.

Imake my own pans 4inch. flat on three sides i cut an old drive shaft long ways for the back pice with flat plat on bottem.cost around 10 bucks and 3hours time never had any troubel and beleve me i have turned some big blocks as hard as a small block.
