Yeah I didn’t do a kit. I pieced together my setup and honestly the only reason I went with the t56, it was the best bang for the buck for overdrive behind a bb. I got a quote for one of those gm auto kits from silver sport I want to say it was 8,000. I’ve put together a few cars for that kind of cash and have had a lot of fun with them I couldn’t see spending that just on a trans.

They did not offer a kit when I purchased mine, so I bought the trans, clutch, flywheel, TOB, clutch master, bell housing and a few misc. parts from them. I got my crossmember from someone on the board for a small block with a different length bell and modified it. The shop that was doing my paint and body made the floor cut out to cover the hole and I may not have a driveshaft yet... have not checked to see if the one I have fits or not.
