Looking for brake upgrade options for my very original low miles 66 valiant. It has a well running 273 but only 10” factory drums all around with a single piston master that runs dry after every short drive. I want to “just drive it” like I felt I could with my old ‘66 dart with the power steering and dual master disc brake upgrade.

The wheels are 13” 5x4 bolt pattern body color matched with very original 3 color hubcaps and I really want to keep them, whereas disc brake upgrade kits seem to require changing to 15” wheels.

Can I get a dual master / power booster setup while staying on the drums and 13” wheels all around? Is there someone who could help me with the right master / proportioning valve / pipes for a setup like that?

You can. I upgraded my 64 to a 67 dual reservoir disc brake master cylinder and disc brake proportioning valve, because I have a set of factory small bolt pattern disc brakes I rebuilt for it some time ago. I have yet to install them, but it stops very well just like it is. You will have to at least go to 14" wheels for disc brakes, but if you stay with the drums, you can retain then 13s. You don't have to use the disc brake master cylinder like I did. You can just use the drum brake dual reservoir master cylinder. Get one for the 67 model and you should be fine. Of course, you'll need the distribution block for the dual reservoir master cylinder and the extra line. It's a very easy upgrade.
