63-66 Valiants

Haven't touched it in two years! Other things(home improvements) have taken priority over my Valiant. But I think (hope) that will change soon.

Original AZ car- 45000 miles-AT-A/C-P/S- 273- now looks like a Commando-
Building a J head 340 disquised as a 273

this is an awesome thread.

here in australia we didn't have the a-body two-doors at all.

here's my latest pride and joy - a (67) VC valiant - had her two weeks now.

one owner, 67000 miles, stock /6 225.

will remain a /6. going for a hot 6.

Thought I found a good 66 for cheap but it turned out to be a 4 door.

nothin wrong with a four door?

warm up the engine a bit, give it a nice low stance with steelies and whitewalls . . .
:burnout:

i get it. you're so lucky to have the early two-doors. we only had the sedan wagon (safari) or ute (wayfairer) in the a-body.

but the utes are hot. two seats, no weight over the rear

still not as hot as your coupes though.

just saw this thread, just got the bumpers on.....lot of awesome rides here........

Well, i've been playing with this car for a couple weeks now. 273, 4bbl, auto, 7 1/4. I'm going through it as time permits and throwing some some parts at it. Not sure where it's going yet, but it's a fun project!! Geof

hi wear did you get the valve cover and ait cleaner from than thanks

I think that's an Offenhauser valve cover. Just do a search. Summit might have them. Also might have seen them on eBay. I know they're still available. Nice, but not necessarily cheap. They make a nice set for the small block too.
