Ok .... Iv seen this lite before on 63 and 64 dart convertables only. As I am parting out A 63 ppl want the tail lites but the ones on mine don't look like the ones thay have. One guy said the screws were in the wrong place ... the next guy said the ring was wrong ... the next guy said his didn't have the vertical thingy and the next guy said he had never seen one like that before. ..... The lens I have isn't flat like all of them ... It has a chrome ring in the center like some ..... and a extra bit of bling like few. ... So is the vertical thingy a dealer instaled thing ???? Or is it a thing thay did at Newark just on a whim in late 63 early 64 ????? Im sure thay are out there on a GT hart top or on A 170 I just haven't seen it. little info would help here so i can better help the ppl im dealing with .... tnx

I believe the taillight that you have is from a 62 63 64 65 Chevrolet. read the print on the lens, that should tell if it's gm or mopar.
thats the first thing that came to mind ..... real deal 63 mopar ....

Right vintage, wrong make. I think those are Impala tail lights modded to fit. Neat 60's custom trick though!

Man that is messed up .... Date code is even rite .... Thats y iv only seen them on two or three cars. And thay were drop tops to..... Been stressin over a P.O.S. bowtie tail lite. Well if ya don't know or give a dam about chevys ya woun't know that was a chevy lite. Ain't a chevy mark on it. Must have been removed to make it fit.

Guess the light! Just enjoyed the challenge of figuring out what the hell they came from while drinking some java this morning. I swear I thought they were from a Ferd Falcon so I had to look. Don't stress the little things. They will make great shop art!.. or targets!

I Don't like the exposed screws the real tail light covers those.

I figured someone striped them out and stuck some wood screws in there. Im also wondering if ya can put a real 63 lens back in there now if the holes are in a difernt spot (I was told thay were). And didn't GM lites back in the day say guilde on them in scripet??? Very nice driveway covers btw trapster

I thought you where parting it out? Maybe not. But if so, I'll take the lights. How much? If they fit your '63 they'll fit mine! I'll have some one off spares and a story.

That's incredible that they fit that well. That could give 63 and 64 owners another source for hard to find tail lights for a driver.
Wonder if thay would fit in a 68 charger ?
ok .. guess i got to man up take my lumps and give credit where its due .... 65 ragtop nailed it but there ain't no markings on it earther way and i would have bet money thay were a mopar part ..... tnx all for the help on this. We will have to play this game again .....
