63 Valiant Signet convertible

New to me 63 Signet, my first convertible! A little rough but solid. Original 3-on-the-tree car, I've got a nice 318 and discs to make this a nice driving car.

Wondering what the original colors were. It seems to be black, but the floor pan is all painted red. Maybe 3BP meant two-tone black and red? Was there a two-tone option for Valiant in 63? Would they really paint the door frames red on an otherwise all-black car?

Number- Can't read the 1st digit but it's the shipping order number should also be on the radiator core support

TRM-735 Trim Code Clean off that TRM number and look at it again the 73 does not line up but the 5 is red interior

Read up on putting a V8 in a 63. It has issues with clearance from distributor to the firewall search this site for 63 valiant V8. Can be overcome but read and decide .

Yes, I have indeed, thanks. Last two a-bodes I did LA swaps with were 65s where clearance wasn't an issue, and there's definitely less room on the 63 firewall.
