63 Wagon tires

The tire size on my ‘63 Wagon is P155/80R13. I’m looking to replace them - is that the correct size, or should I go any larger for a 13” wheel?

I’d go with at least a 165/80x13 to get a bit more height to fill the wheelwells

That's a good bit too small. The factory size was 6.50 x 13, which equates to about an A/78/13. The closest metric size to that is a 175/80/13. I have 185/70/13s on mine, which are the same height as the 175/80/13, but wider. Your tires are about 1.5" shorter than stock overall.

That's a hair tall, but it's like a +1 and won't hurt a thAng.

185/70-13 is a + size. It is the same height as a 165-13.
