How many springs do the bucket seats utilize to control the seat adjustment mechanism? Any photos posted on the forum that show the underside of the bucket seats with the levers, wires, and springs installed correctly? Thank you.

If yours are like my '68, there are two. There is one long, black strong one that aids in moving the seat forward and back, and one small yellow one to return the adjustment lever to it's closed position. The springs are only on the outside track.

Thanks, now I see. Evidently, there are two very tiny springs (without any hooks) that go on each end of the cable/wire to keep it from falling off (One of my two buckets has that cable/wire snapped in two pieces).

I'm restoring the front buckets from my '65 (12-4-64 build date) right now. They each have two track springs (the long ones) and two release springs. Post #4 above, from a '64 Barracuda, shows one track spring in the picture. Since there is a provision in each seat for two track springs, I plan on replacing two track springs in each seat. It seems to me two would be better as the pull pressure would be the same side to side. Does anyone have a source for these springs?
