Are the front valance panels for the 64 and 65 Valiants and Barracudas the same? Vixen's has some rust through and I need to know before I start looking for one. Thanks.
 
I believe that front ends are common for the Valiants and Barracudas for those years; fenders, valence and hoods...

This isn't a parts wanted thread. It's a "are they different" thread. I don't want the mods to close it. Mine is a 64 anyway. Thanks.
 
if you look at pics of the openings you will see the difference s and Valiants may have lights in the openings. If you dont care about these minor differences you are all good.
 
Aren't the fenders different, too?

Regarding the space and angle between the upper and lower arms of the "V".

Yeah mine has the front turn signals in the valance.
 
I can't remember if the opening in the Barracuda valance is smaller than the opening in the Valiant, but I'll go out to the shop and check when I get this little dog off my lap...lol. I know for sure that the one I'm putting on my Barracuda is off a Valiant. I had to drill out the tabs that held the turn signals. I'll take some pitchers of the 2 if they are different. I honestly can't remember if the rusty crusty one on my Barracuda is an actual Barracuda valance. Bottom line is, either one will bolt up on either car....they just look different.

Here’s the one I’m putting on my Barracuda. It looks identical to the one on the car. I suspect the car has a Valiant front clip on it, because the front fenders are 100% from a 65 Valiant. If you find one from a Barracuda, worst case is you’ll have to fab 2 little brackets to brace the turn signals.

they look good no matter what front end you put on them...Just an FYI as I know this is not a part's thread @RustyRatRod there is one with turn signal lights on EBAY right now...it's in PA but they are getting hard to find...it looks pretty good
