Would love to know how many 1964 Dart Convertibles came with 4 Speed

Also can you post a picture of the Grover book?

I've got a GT convertible /6 auto car, but the hood seems to be a 270 hood (may have been swapped at some point when the car was repainted). Did all GTs get the big gaudy trim on the hood?

Yes - the GT was basically a trim package so the trim on the hood and sides of tge car were different. Nice 64 vert!

I happen to have a 64 gt hardtop, v8 factory hurst White ball 4spd .stock everything except paint. It was a custom order. Original owner got it to tow behind a camper.
He was a school teacher in hollister.
90,000 org miles
30.000 driven.
60.000 towed.

Looks like a dandy. 4 speeds were available to order in 64. I would imagine the 3 speed was standard and the 4 speed and automatic got a box checked on the order form.

I’ll bet with better marketing Dart Convertible 4speeds would have surpassed all other marks.
I might be prejudiced but a light sporty convertible with a 4 speed could stand toe-toe with the Mustang of the day.

And they did. That was Dodge's answer to the Mustang. The Barracuda was Plymouth's competition as well as the Valiant. All those models could be had with v8's and 4 speeds starting in 64. Many of those were 4 speeds as well.
