64 dart budget (whatevers laying around) build-up

What's going on with this thread? Any updates.

The summer has been keeping me very busy, and i've been vinyl siding my garage which has slowed progress on the dart to almost a halt.

I've got a few things done, changed the front tires/wheel. (i was offered $$$ and sold the old 70's 2-piece centerline front wheels) i got these new, and they have the 5 on 4 inch bolt pattern (don't really count as "what i have laying around" but i did come out $ ahead)

here's another one you mopor guys are gonna love, i looked and looked for a "mopar" hood scoop but couldn't find a cheap one (even used repo's are pricey) So..... i got this factory ford mustang scoop, its acually plastic but i think it fits the hood lines pretty good and has a mopor look.

Seein that oil pickup hangin there made me think.....did you spot welt the pickup to the oil pump? The pickups on chebbies are notorious for fallin off. Chebbie or not, that would SUCK. ...well actually, it would quit suckin.

Gotta love see,n an Early-A out at the track, regardless of drivetrain you,ve saved it from the crusher.Nice build!

What ever happened to this build? Was wondering what you did about the oil pan- steering linkage issue. Buddy of mine at work harassing me to put an sbc in my dart to replace my six cyl. had me thinking what would be needed for the swap. Cool build!!

I think the bolts or rims were backwards anyways! Never Seen SuperTricks with the nuts outboard...Sweet SBC rims!

Seems your pretty crafty with the old welder, how about swapping the spindles and doing the front mount rack? disk brake clearance issues? How bout a custom pickup tube and cutting/moving the sump to center? Keep it coming....
