64 radiator in 62 Lancer

Has anyone ever put a 64 radiator in a 62 Lancer/valiant? I am looking at buying one long distance and only have pics to go by, The upper hose looks like it will work, but the lower hose could be close to the engine.

It's not the outlet and inlet, it's the location of the side mounting flanges. Your 62 is centered in the rad yoke and the 64 is flush with it. I have made this mistake. You could buy one of the reused rads and have the side brackets re-welded to make it work, but out of the box it will not work.

Thanks I've heard of others having problems. But today I found a guy who will recore for a lot less and I like look of the original radiator.
