has anyone installed a 65-66 B body 8 3/4 rear into a 68 dart? It is narrow as far as B body rears go and looks like would work better in duster. I happen to have one and wondered what backspace with a 15 in rim would work. If it takes special order or difficult to find wheels,etc.maybe better to look in different direction.

Here's some reading for you. Essentially it will work with proper backspacing.

On my 72 it took 5" of backspace on 15" x 7" wheels. Could have went 5 1/4" would have been better. 5 3/4' on 8" wheels is what I figured but it would have been a tight fit. Also I hear that 5 lug mustang wheels are good for that combo. Best bet is to just install the rear end and measure.
