Well i got a 65 barracuda and I got a "C" body 8 3/4 rearend with 3.23 with big bolt axles for the rear. Got for cheap so took it. I want to put disc brakes in the front from a donor car but if the back is big bolt how will i make the front big bolt as well? Should i just cut my losses and trade or sell the rearend to get A body instead of C? What donor cars do i have to look for the front suspension conversion and what exactly do i need? thanks

You can get a disc brake set up from a 73 and later a-body. You may also need to grab the upper control arms with it....

That C-body housing is going to be too wide. However, some of the C-body and truck axle shafts can be cut down and replined; your housing can be narrowed as well.

As for the front, you will want 73 and up A-body disk front, to include callipers, rotors, spindles, upper control arms, and proportioning valve. You will also want to upgrade master cylinder as well.
