65 barracuda foam fraim rail/firewall inserts

Anybody remove or replace these?
If so what material did you make new ones out of?
Im painting the fraim rails, and im removing undercoating with a torch and dont want to light these on fire,would also like to paint behindthem.

I did the same thing as Plymouth 65. I believe I still have them in a box and was going to make new ones but it never happened.

Weren't they put there to stop dropped tools from disappearing down there. Found many tools in there when cutting cars up. I even found a Class ring.

Those kits don't have the parts the OP asked about. I just made a set for my car out of some spare foam laying around.

Well that was handy having a link to DTM , I didn't have them in my Bookmarks .
Just ordered the Hood bumpers from them that no one had that were correct for the '66 Dart . These are the ones that mount to the fender and keep the hood from moving side to side . Also ordered other under hood Gaskets and seals .

Never put mine back in either. Just went through where you are currently at in November. Painted my barracuda on New Year’s Eve.
