65 barracuda just got it wired and fired

I finally got my new motor in , been building it for 2 years while driving it with the 340 until the motor was shot . so any ways I built a 360 550 lift comp cams ca 206 305 /280 @ 108 or close to that . 650 dp holley manual seconds ,on a m1 intake , with a 3200 stall tsi trans 3.23 rears. did a little shake down , and took it to the backroads , I have a b&m 3 speed automatic 3200 stall , I pick up the tach a little and jump on it ,,,,it falls on its face gets up to about 3500 and just lights up like I intended it to , from the lights to the line its actually built for a 750 vacuum 2nds but I am wondering y it fell on its face out of the hole and lit up like a rocket threw upper 1st . 2nd . and 3 rd all responses welcome beautifull car I ust want RESPONSE like a snowmobile WFO

Sounds like you have some checking and tuning to do.
I don't think they make a 360 cubic inch 2 stroke

It'd be a bada** if they did, and a hemi would'nt have a chance against it.

So glad to see you're back in business Jon :thumleft:. As said, tuning on the carb/timing to one extent or the other should help out a lot. Just off the top on my head, I wonder if the pump squirter is enough with the 650 and that big plenum intake? I'm guessing a #31 shot should probably be in range, but I don't know what you're running now. Push the timing as far as you can without spark knock with the fuel you're using, and then tweak the carb. I know you could easily use a 750ish carb, but there's no reason the 650 can't get things done for the time being.

hey rick still maken up time and running behind .How you been . yes the motor was designed for a 750-780 vacuum secondaries but $00+600+1300 add life in general u know the answer . so yes tommoro were going to up the timing and recheck some gapps , and follow threw with some carb tuning ,its a hand full when you pop 2nd gear, but I need that at the wholeshot as well . glad you jumped in good to here from you again , and I hopen were down to fine tuning ill post some results soon and where we go from there . patients FABO friends 2 years went by like 4 weeks other than the income and the -14 below winter lol you all take care
