65 Barracuda outside lower trim attach removal

Any one know of a way to remove these without breaking? They hold the lower trim piece below the door. Also are there any parts sources for replacements?

I just punch the centers out

The plugs need to be pulled from the out side, they are tapered plugs. Just drill a small hole in them and use a screw to pull them out.

The clips will more than likely fall apart when you take them off though, there is 4 tabs that get spread out by the plugs and when you go to pull them off the rocker, the tabs will come off.

I bought a set of universal clips from a body shop supplier made buy Au-ve-co that I filed to fit the molding. the part number is 8581

I figured it out. I drilled a small hole in the plug and started a sheet metal screw in it. Drove the plug in(I tried pulling and every time it broke the little wings off) the screw keeps the plug from getting away, just work side to side and everyone I did this way came out. Thanks all, this is a great source of information.
