Hi all,

I have a 65 Barracuda 273 with drum all round. Stock standard undercarriage and suspension. I want to get a set of the "60's racer" style Torque thrusts.

I'm inclined to go 14" as they are period correct, but may go 15" as the tyres are easier to source.

What I would like to know is, what width rim and rubber can you fit on a 65 Barracuda without fouling on the fenders, leaf springs or wheel arches.

Just like Oklacarcollecto has suggested ,it will be time consuming but you will see alot of great Cars and maybe get a few new ideas if you " Surf " around on this (BEST) Site as to others directions they took in their builds. I have a '65 Barracuda and was going through the same decision making process as you and ended up going into another direction after looking around at all these great cars. There are VERY FEW options if you stay with the small bolt pattern like I did ,but I am happy that I did look around Here. Keep all of us up to speed and GOOD LUCK ! Tim

I have a 66 Cuda I'm running 14 inch wheel Vintiques [Rally's small bolt pattern] 14x7 rear 4 1/4 inch back space with 245/60/14 on a stock 7 1/4 rear, my fronts are 14x6 with 4 inch back space with 235/60/14. This car has been lowered 2 inches front and 3 inches rear, rear tires clear no rubbing, front tires rub slightly on full lock on inside [gonna change front tire size to 205/70/14 eventually] 235s are just too wide for this car.

Thanks for that, very helpful, exactly the stance I'm going for.
