Just curious, has anyone had the grommet on the top end of the clutch pedal shaft disintegrate? Mine started hanging up and when I took the clip off to pull the rod off, the grommet crumbled in my hands.
The shaft is pressed into the pedal assembly, so I'm wondering two things: is taking the assembly off and finding someone to r&r the shaft with a new grommet the only way to fix this? Or has anyone ever solved this without all that hassle. It's not driveable as it sits........
