65 cuda pos battery cable route?

is the correct route for the pos. battery cable ( 273) in the 65 cuda...... does it go along the inner fender, then up along firewall under the cowl lip, and then down to the starter???? I have to piece this thing back together and have to get a cable. thanks

I thought that they go down near the brake lines and then route it through the starter/exhaust area....

looks like it had the plastic clips along the inner fender, which suggests it went along there. ????

Both the cars in my shop have the cable running through this cable routing strap on the inner fender just ahead of the drivers side exhaust manifold! Not many cars still have this strap in place! Check yours, you may get lucky! Geof
