65 Cuda V8 block casting number question

Ok, I can find all of the online lists of the Mopar block numbers - that is not the problem.

How do you get a look at the casting number with the engine in the car, starter & exhaust manifold installed?

do I need to remove something? Look from a certain spot?

Engine has been changed, and there is nothing stamped into the front of the block under the driver's side cylinder head.

Not so sure it is a 273 any more. Once I got the 3310 holley repaired it seems to run harder than a 273 would.

Numbers are cast on right side of block below deck surface above motor mount.
Get under it with a flashlight, you should be able to see them no trouble, barring grease/oil/dirt.

Actually, the casting number is on the LH (drivers side) of the block above the starter and below the head gasket.
