65 dart constant reverse lights

Hey guys recently got my car back on the road and all seems fine except my reverse lights stay on in drive. I didn't mess with anything on the trans except for putting a new speedo gear in. Looking at the wiring diagram it seems like a fairly simple circuit but it's not real clear where things could go wrong. Anyone experience this or have suggestions where to start?

On those cars the reverse light switch is on wherever the shifter is, column or console. Quickest thing is to pull the harness connector off the switch and see if they go out. If they do, either linkage/ switch is out of adjustment, or switch is bad
 
I thought that may be the case... I had to replace the turn signal cam on it so I had all that out. If its a column shift where abouts is the switch at?
