65 Dart GT Convertible

I am new to this group, so please bear with me.
I have a 65 Dart GT Convertible photo included.
I have a rear brake cylinder leaking. I think it is the original cylinder, l have included photos of it.
Is there anyway to really tell. I rebuilt it so those are the new dust caps on it.
Second issue my 7.25 rear end small drip from my differential cover appears to siliconed on. Any trick to remove it without bending it.

Welcome to FABO. No clue on how to tell if the wheel cylinders are originals, but you should be able to work the differential cover loose with a putty knife. Just keep working your way around until it's free. The putty knife blade is thin, so it should not bend the cover. It's gonna be a messy, stinky job no matter how you do it! I worked in Clayton a few times when we had to travel to Raleigh after a storm. I was a lineman for CP&L and still have friends who worked out of Garner Op Center. We're all retired now though! some wheel cylinders may not be rebuildable. We always hone the cylinder wall and wire wheel the ends to make sure everything is as new as possible and then reassemble. If the piston rods, cylinders walls and sealing surfaces are not clean and smooth they will leak. The one in the picture definitely looks "sketchy". Nice car welcome aboard!
