Awesome job man!I definitely have the best wife in the world, today is our 34 wedding anniversary so we went out to dinner last night and took our youngest daughter with us she was happy with that. So today after going to the gym this morning and getting home around 9:30 and cleaning the stuff off the roof I got out in the garage around noon and started trimming and fitting the piece from the parts car. After 4-5 hours I got the part fitted and tack welded in. Trying to make sure the body lines all lined up and the door latched without any problems. I did see that the door itself is bent some and I'll have to figure out what needs to be straighten so it fits the rocker panel a little better. My only concern right now is that the back of the top of the inner panel is about an 1/8" closer together than it is by the B-pillar but before I weld it in I may have to open it up a little.

WoW... I'm really starting to like this conversion. Maybe I should convert my 70 Swinger into a wagon.
Stopped by for a wagon update and got a horror story lolI was planning on getting the drivers door hung this week end but that didn't happen instead I spent 12 hours replacing the evaporator and heater core in my 05 Magnum the engineers at Mercedes sure didn't think there cars would last this long because you have to disassemble the dash and most of the engine side of the fire wall to get the heater & A/C unit out
If the inner welds dont foul anything i,d just run a wire wheel over them to tidy em up and brush on some body sealer/seam sealer whatever you mericans call it, less work more strength, more time for the other sideI finally got back out in the garage today for a little while. I finished welding in the inner panel so the right side is welded in now all I have to do is grind down the inner welds. I also removed the B-pillar from the drivers side and welded the spot weld holes and the rear door latch mounting holes. Along with the body side molding holes in the rear quarter panel. Hopefully next week I'll get the door hung.
