65 MOPAR AM radio repair

Norm,
Have you hooked it up and checked out the condition?
My observation is these were built like bricks.
The electronics were heavy duty, you only have to concern with the wear areas. Dial cord, push button lubrication, and potentiometer cleaning.
I like to see original radios and an un-cut dash.

I removed this radio from my project car about 4 years ago. The radio powered up and activated and played a small speaker I had slaved into it. It didn't work in the car, but that was due to an electrical issue. I polished the display wrapped it up and put it in storage. I got ready to do a "test install" in my refinished dash, when I realized that the tuner would not operate. pointer remained stationary. I opened the box and found that the device that operates the "ring and pinion" just slips. I put the box back together and figure to let someone who is familiar with these radios look at it. I don't remember any issues with it before I put it in storage.
