My ‘65 front and rear was made by precision. My understanding is that its decent stuff havent installed yet. Be positive the locking strips come with. Mine did not. I purchased them seperately from another supplier,in black. I dont like the chrome, it doesent stand up very well.

There was a shortage a few years back and every supplier I called said that Precision had them on backorder. Best as I can tell, whoever you get them from they all come from Precision.

When I did my car many yrs ago, nobody was repoping the chrome locking strip. I bought a locking strip for a 72? Chev truck. Ever slight difference and no problems.

Nobody still reproduces the correct lock strip so the choice is the Chevy pickup style in chrome or black.

I can't vouch for the quality but this comes with the locking strip...

Also check out Steele Rubber Products. They have both the black and chrome locking strips sold separately but the prices are lower for both than anywhere else I've seen. Again, I know nothing about the quality.
