66 Dart gas cap door?

Has anybody seen this before? Very difficult to open the door and to refuel. I could mount a small pull knob for the door. But the real issue is refueling the car. It’s almost like the angle is wrong and if you don’t hold the nozzle at the right angle the fuel delivery stops. Something else to fix I suppose.

Not sure what that’s from but it’s not a 66 Dart. Should just be the cap no door someone got to customizing. The angle of the full neck isn’t the best in stock form and now yours is shorter making it worse.

Wow. Someone went to a lot of trouble and effort there. Too bad they didn't go to quite enough thought first.

Yes they did a pretty good job. Probably the only 66 like it.

Installing a restrictor door might help on spit-back. Not much you can do to help the pump from clicking off. I find holding the fuel nozzle handle upside down helps some.
