Go to MyMopar and download the closest you can get to the correct factory service manual. Then go to the wiring section and download the 2-page aftermarket diagrams. Those aren't always correct to detail, but are sometimes easier to follow
The functional path for the alternator to battery............
Alternator output........usually no10 black to firewall connector........to ammeter, and there is a FACTORY WELDED SPLICE in that black on the road to the ammter up under the dash............through the ammeter to RED,..........out through the firewall connector..........through the fusable link.........to the starter relay "big stud"..........and to the battery
