Here is the latest pic of my 66 Dart from September 2024, I owned this Dart for 25 years now. Assembled the 416 short block in 2006, sent the heads out in 2009 for cnc porting and haven't broke the seal on the engine since. Darts best time so far is 10.63 in October of this year, in a small 3 day Drag and Drive event. Drove a little over 160 miles with 4.30 rear gear, took off the street tires and bolted on the slicks. Bolted the street tires back on drove another 160+ miles to an 1/8 mile track and ran 6.75, 6.74, 6.82, 6.74. I think that's not bad for a pump gas 4spd stick shift street car.

That's a great photo a nd a fun story. A 160 mile cruise with 4.30's will definitely clean your spark plugs.

@19DART66 good to see you here, we’ve spoken a few times at Carlisle I’m building a similar 66 although with Gen 3 Hemi power

Can anyone with a 2 door get me a measurement from the door jam to the bumper, I just bought a quarter panel and need to see how I’m getting it home.

Thanks

Hey Bogie, Just measured my 2dr. post and came up with 86 1/4 inches from door jam to were the tail light bolts on which is the longest part of the quarter on my 66. Hope this helps.
