First pic is how I bought it. Last one was last night after the last coat of satin clear on the patina paint job we did. I’m putting the emblems, trim and mirror back on today. More pics to follow. No pics of the wagon.......we love wagons!!!!!!!!!!!!
225 automatic, AM radio, and a remote outside mirror. Those are the only listed options. Dart 270 6 passenger wagon with Mauve paint and black vinyl split bench interior. Sept 10th build date.
The roof rack is not factory that center mount on the front of it is a dead giveaway.
I didn’t think it was, but I love how it looks on the car! Can’t wait for cruising season!I was going to say the same thing after looking at it, still looks good.
That’s pretty cool. How long did you have it? Did you sell it to Tom?Hey, that's my old wagon! Here is an old thread with more history, car was originally Mauve with black interior.
A boy and his Station Wagon..
A guy named Tom bought it and sold to his son in Ohio. My buddy bought it from him and then I bought it. It looks like it picked up some dings and scars along the way, but it’s super solid and sounds great. Pretty sure it’s has the same drive train. I’m going to be swapping out the 7 1/4 for an 8 3/4. I just think it’s a cool car. The buckets in the front are getting swapped for a bench seat. No, I sold it to a guy that sold it again shortly after. Lost who owned it at that point. I traded my local friend my first car (a 65 Dart GT) for it back in 2011 or so. I was the one that put a v8 in it when the slant started acting up on the way home from work one day.
Might be a different motor or someone did some work to it along the way because it doesn’t smoke anymore but it still has a lumpy cam.It had the original bench when I sold it, it also had a 5.2 Magnum that smoked pretty bad. Glad to see it still has the 72 Challenger exhaust tips, those came from a local friend of mine.
I wouldn’t change a thing about the paint scheme on that one, so cool!
