this looks like a cool car and I talked to the owner. I liked the car because it was still in the originals owners family but the seller was stuck on $2700 and I'm afraid it's a really really cool parts car. Do you think it's worth restoring?
Is it worth restoring? Probably not, the underhood had a lot of surface rust on the dash panel (don't call it a firewall), so I would expect the worst. I'm afraid to say it just might be a really great parts car. I was thinking of making it a fun driver and was planning on driving about 4 hours one way to see it but found a much much nicer one for a little bit more. Too bad about the rust, it's a really cool car in a cool color and probably hasn't been butchered up.
