I'm not sure if it's been posted here before or not, but I thought I'd post it again.....

Glasstek produces fiberglass parts for 66 Plymouth Valiant/ Barracuda!
Doors, front fenders, hood, trunklid and front and rear bumpers and dashboard.

Looks and sound like some quality parts! I was personally shocked to see this for a stand alone year body design!

I think early A's are pretty well supported in the fiberglass department!

65 valiant/battacuda flat pin on hood...no raised 'spine" i assume? These hoods weigh a ton!

Look at the photos I loaded, looks like a center spine.......I think when they specify "flat", they mean no hood scoop.

65’s still get no love - i see nothing from VFN

AAR Fiberglass has a '65 hood. Between them, VFN, US Body source, Glasstek and others there is pretty good coverage. Everything from hoods, trunks, bumpers, doors, dash boards, pretty much whatever you want!

so, just wanted to give everyone my review on the company and part.......

Got my rear bumper in yesterday......ahead of schedule by two weeks I beleive. Packed nicely also!

Some photos of the actual bumper. They say they're not trimmed to size, but i think it just needs some minor clean up here and there. The fiberglass has some nice thickness to it also.......very well constructed and looks pretty much flawless from the quick once over I did on it!

Also, don't throw away the box without pulling the invoice out of the clear label.....mine had a nice Glasstek sticker in it! ;)

I personally will be purchasing again from Glasstek and would highly recommend the company!

Nice, now take it to a wrap shop and get it wrapped in "chrome" vinyl!

I haven't seen many pictures of Mopar fiberglass parts. What kind of mounting hardware is provided for the bumpers?

No mounting hardware is supplied with the bumper.
I'll be making up some brackets to mount it, i'll keep everyone posted on the progress.

Are you bonding studs to the back side or do you have to drill bolts through it?

You need to contact the manufacturer. For both price and availability. This is an old thread and information from years ago will be incorrect.
